For your convenience, our most common customer questions are answered right here.
Q: I’m ready to crank out some incredible songs. How do I get started?
A: Head over to the Project Planner page and fill out the form. We will be in touch with you by phone or email within 24 hours!
Q: Are you local?
A: We are not local. Our team and studio is located in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee. In today’s digital age we have the tools to collaborate with artists and songwriters and create an incredible product that you’ll be proud of. Our process of working together online is very simple. Contact us to learn how we can work together. Also check out our testimonials page to see what other artists and songwriters had to say about their experience with us.
Q: What’s your turn around time?
B: This can change quickly from week to week depending on new projects coming in. We have a strict project queue system in place that operates on a first come first serve basis. It’s always best to submit your project immediately as opposed to waiting in order to get a much higher position in the project queue. When you are considering doing a multi song project it is always best to do all of those songs together as opposed to going one by one. If you choose to do one song at a time with us we will have to reevaluate the project queue every time we start a new song for you and sometimes this means that your next song may not get started until a couple of weeks later. So make sure you consider this when wanting to do multiple songs. Feel free to contact us and we will be able to give you a better idea of what our current turn around time is.
Q: The services I need for my project doesn’t quite match what you have listed on your services page.
A: That’s okay! Creating music can sometimes be complicated and although what you need may not be listed on our website, if it’s in the realm of music, it’s very likely we can still help you. Contact us and we’ll be in touch within 24 hours to see if we are a match for what you need.
Q: So if you’re creating the lyrics/music/melodies then who owns the song?
A: Generally in the music world anything that is collaborated on gives shared rights to all songwriters involved. Even though another writer may share rights in your song you still have the same ability to pitch the songs to artists, post them online, or sell them. If you’re interested in 100% exclusive rights we would be happy to discuss that option with you.
Q: Do you require a contract? Can I choose to have you sign my contract?
A: Some projects over a certain dollar amount will require a contract in order to protect our time invested into the project. (This is usually for big projects that require more time and in most cases we don’t require it) If you have a contract of your own that you would like for us to sign, or if you feel like you need further protection of your music, then we are perfectly okay with that. We will go over the contract to make sure it works for both of us and then proceed with your project.
Q: What about copyright? Don’t I need to protect my songs before I work with you or release them to the general public?
A: No. In today’s digital age copyright infringement is virtually a thing of the past. There are so many ways to prove you are the original creator of your songs. From basic recordings/ideas of it on your phone, lyrics on your computer or phone, or just your initial email to us describing your song idea. These (and other various forms of proof) are in 99% of the case all you need in order to prove you are the rightful owner of a song.
